Why convert MOV to MP4?
MOV is Apple's QuickTime format. iPhones, Macs and many cameras save video as .mov. Apple devices play them fine, but some Windows apps, Android phones, smart TVs, website uploaders and online forms don't accept .mov files. MP4 is the most widely supported video format there is, so converting avoids those problems.
iPhone videos and HEVC
Newer iPhones record in HEVC (H.265) by default to save space. Kliprio converts them to H.264 MP4, which plays on every device. Decoding HEVC needs support from your device: it works in Safari on Mac and iPhone and on most recent Windows and Android devices. If your browser can't read the file, Kliprio will tell you and suggest another browser.

Is MP4 better than MOV?
Not in quality, since both can hold the same video. MP4 is just accepted in more places, which makes it the safer choice for sharing.
Can I convert MOV to MP4 on iPhone?
Yes. Open Kliprio in Safari, choose the video from Photos or Files, convert, and save the MP4.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
