How it works
- Choose the video you want to email.
- Pick Gmail, Outlook, or a custom size.
- Compress, download, and attach it to your email.
Email attachment limits
Every email service limits how big attachments can be. Gmail and Yahoo Mail allow up to 25 MB per message, and Outlook.com allows 20 MB. Many company email servers set lower limits, often 10 MB. The limit counts every attachment in the message, and email encoding adds a little overhead, so Kliprio aims slightly under the limit to make sure your message goes through.
Attach or share a link?
Gmail offers to turn big attachments into a Google Drive link, and Outlook does the same with OneDrive. Links are fine for friends, but a real attachment is often better for work: the recipient doesn't need an account or permission to open it, it can't expire, and it's saved with the email. Job applications, school assignments and customer support requests usually expect an attachment.
Keep it clear
- For screen recordings with text, a shorter clip keeps text readable. Trim to the part that matters.
- If the video still doesn't fit, remove the sound if you don't need it, or use the Strict preset.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I attach my video to Gmail?
Gmail's limit is 25 MB per email. Most phone videos longer than a few seconds are bigger than that. Compress it here with the Gmail preset and it will fit.
Will the recipient be able to play it?
Yes. Kliprio creates an MP4 file, which opens on Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android without extra software.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. Kliprio runs entirely in your browser using your device's built-in video encoder. Your file is never sent to a server, so it stays private and nothing is stored on our side.
Is there a file size limit?
Kliprio has no fixed limit. The practical limit is your device's memory: computers handle files of several gigabytes, while phones do best with videos under about 1 GB. If a very large file fails on your phone, try it on a computer.
Is Kliprio really free?
Yes. Kliprio is free to use and is supported by ads shown on the page, never inside the tool or on the download button. There's no watermark and no account.
